AIDS Treatment Information Centre (ATIC)
ATIC is a not-for-profit organisation based in Makerere, Uganda, providing rapid, up-to-date information to healthcare professionals from anywhere in sub-Saharan Africa on all aspects of HIV/AIDS care. Staffed by specialist pharmacists, the service is free of charge with a call back system and a quarterly newsletter.
AIDSMAP
This site is produced by NAM in collaboration with the British HIV Association and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance. NAM produces extensive information on treatments, both in book form and as a searchable database on this website. They also have a range of publications on organisations and contacts as well as an online international resources database, searchable in six languages. There is also a searchable database of HIV clinics in the UK.
ATIC
ATIC is an initiative of Realta, an Irish NGO, dedicated to improving the treatment, as well as reducing the spread of HIV in Africa.
AVERT
AVERT is a leading UK based AIDS Education and Medical Research charity and are responsible for a wide range of education and medical research work with the overall aim of preventing people from becoming infected with HIV, improving the quality of life of those already infected, and through medical research working to develop a cure for AIDS.
BHIVA (British HIV Association)
This provides details of the current activities, publications and guidelines produced by the British HIV Association. Conference and membership information is also available.
Clinical Care Options for HIV
This is the HIV speciality website of Clinical Care Options and is produced by iMedOptions. Their aim is to provide accurate, impartial, and well-balanced information to physicians and allied healthcare professionals; however, it is open to non-professionals as well. It provides peer-reviewed articles, reference tools, medical and clinical information and resources, medical news, medical conference coverage, treatment updates, and certified continuing education for healthcare professionals. It also has interactive tools and teaching aids intended for the use of a trained healthcare professional. Content is intended for healthcare professionals and is written either by their staff, physicians and other healthcare professionals and health writers whom they commission. The site is free but everyone must register in order to access it.
Forum for Collaborative HIV Research
The Forum for Collaborative HIV Research is an independent public-private partnership whose mission is to facilitate discussion on emerging issues in HIV clinical research and the transfer of research results into care. The Forum is a project of the Center for Health Services Research and Policy (CHSRP) at The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services.
HIV i-Base
HIV i-Base is a treatment activist group, HIV-positive lead and committed to providing timely HIV treatment information both to positive people themselves and to healthcare professionals. i-Base was formed in April 2000 by the former publications, editorial and meetings team from the AIDS Treatment Project, and has continued to cover the most innovative and important medical advances in HIV and AIDS.
HIV InSite
HIV InSite is a website developed by the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and is a collaborative project of the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center, the Positive Health Program at San Francisco General Hospital and the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies, components of the University's AIDS Research Institute. Launched in March 1997, HIV InSite's mission is to be a source for comprehensive, in-depth HIV/AIDS information and knowledge. The site has an extensive collection of original material, including the HIV InSite Knowledge Base, a complete textbook with extensive references and related links organised by topic.
HIV Pharmacotherapy Network
This is produced by the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The aims of the site are to network caregivers, educators and researchers in HIV to provide resources, expertise and an interactive forum from which to advance practice, knowledge, and patient care. The Network strives to focus on areas in clinical practice, education and research.
HIVPA (HIV Pharmacy Association)
HIVPA membership is open to all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the UK and Republic of Ireland working in Infectious Diseases and HIV specialties and accepts applications from overseas HIV pharmacists as Associate members upon request.  HIVPA offers education and networking for its members to improve personal and professional development, for the benefit of the patient and the individual.

NATAP (National AIDS Treatment Advocacy Project)
NATAP is a New York State non-profit corporation whose mission is to educate individuals about HIV and Hepatitis treatments and to advocate on the behalf of all people living with HIV/AIDS and HCV. Their efforts in these areas are conducted on local, national, and international levels. The treatment information that NATAP provides reaches medical professionals, allied professionals, patients, caregivers, underserved communities, and other interested parties in over 40 countries.
Physicians Research Network
PRN is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1990 in New York City. They offer innovative educational programs with presentations by distinguished physicians and scientists, chosen solely by PRN to give members access to current and unbiased information on the diagnosis and management of HIV disease.
US National Library of Medicine, HIV/AIDS Information
The Specialized Information Services (SIS) Division of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) is responsible for information resources and services in toxicology, environmental health, chemistry, HIV/AIDS, and specialised topics in minority health.
