Speaker notes: These data have
all been published in the last few months by different authors.
Shows that IQ is calculated in different ways by different authors,
so must take care when comparing IQ values.
The numbers achieved by different methods for amprenavir are relatively
similar, so possibly not too much of a problem comparing these:
- however, it is important to note that IQ for a certain drug
is not a 'fixed number'; values will vary according to how and
where the study is done.
Again, it is the rank order and the approximate scale of the differences
in IQ between ARV drugs that is important, rather than the actual
values. |
