Summary:

Coadministration is contraindicated as it may increase methylergometrine concentrations which may result in serious and/or life-threatening reactions such as acute ergot toxicity.

Description:

Co-administration is contraindicated due to the potential for serious and/or life-threatening adverse reactions.

Coadministration is expected to increase concentrations of ergot derivatives. Coadministration is contraindicated due to the potential for serious and/or life threatening reactions, such as acute ergot toxicity characterized by peripheral vasospasm and ischemia of the extremities and other tissues.
